Renowned for our commitment to excellence, we have been delivering high-quality manufacturing solutions that meet Canadian standards since 2001. *Electronics Technician* Reporting to the Operations Director, the Electronics Technician implements, maintains, and continuously improves our electronics processes and procedures. The Electronics Technician assembles products and ensures that they meet specifications. This role requires an understanding of electronics manufacturing process and previous experience in this field. Responsibilities: · Program, operate and maintain all equipment associated with electronics assembly and manufacturing · Ensure efficient operation of work centers to meet production schedules · Troubleshoot process and machine issues · Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment · Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems · Document repairs and maintenance performed · Collaborate with other departments · Maintain and organize inventory of spare parts and tools · Maintain compliance to ESD and ISO 9001 standards · Perform safety checks and inspections as required · Other duties may be required. Qualifications: · Understanding of electronics and electronics equipment · Ability to identify & correctly place and hand solder electronic parts · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; programming experience is a plus · Experience with testing and calibration equipment · Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols · Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment · Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks · Experience in performing visual inspections for quality of electronic assemblies. Certifications to IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 are preferred but not required. · A relevant technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred but not required Join our team to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our electronic systems!
