*Position Summary* We are seeking a detail oriented *Intermediate General Accountant* to join our finance team. *Key Responsibilities* * Credit Card reconciliations * HST, OEHT and NRT filings * Annual CRTC reporting * Monthly management reports * Monthly Programmer reports to channels * Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and correct. * Reconcile bank accounts, with a strong focus on identifying and resolving discrepancies. * Maintain precise financial records and working papers for audits and internal reviews. * Create and process invoices, and provide detailed reporting. * Ad-hoc duties as needed *Benefits* * Paid time off * Dental care * Extended health care *Qualifications & Skills* * Minimum 10 years of accounting experience. * Must have experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. * Experience in Media industry * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent organizational and communication abilities. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Proactive mindset with a commitment to compliance and minimizing errors. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring precision and timeliness. * Team player *Application question(s):* * Are you legally eligible to work in Canada? * Will you now or in the future require immigration sponsorship for an employment visa or work permit status?
