*Job Overview* Join our dynamic retail team as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate and bring your passion for customer service and sales to a fast-paced and exciting environment! In this role, you will be one of the friendly faces of our store, helping customers enjoy a positive and memorable shopping experience. You will provide product information and recommendations, assist with purchases, support merchandising and inventory activities, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to develop their retail and customer service skills while contributing to a busy and vibrant store environment during the seasonal period. *Duties and Responsibilities* * Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. * Handle cash and other payment methods in accordance with company procedures. * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor. * Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and assist with inventory and restocking activities. * Assist with receiving and unloading shipments and organizing incoming merchandise. * Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and maintaining attractive store layouts. * Ensure products are properly organized, displayed, and accessible to customers. * Manage time effectively and assist customers promptly during busy periods. * Perform other duties as assigned to support daily store operations. *Skills and Qualifications* * Previous retail, customer service, cashiering, or sales experience is an asset. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions. * Experience using POS systems and handling payments is an asset. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Multilingual abilities are an asset, particularly the ability to communicate in English and another language to better serve a diverse customer base. *Physical Requirements* * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts. * Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the store. * Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise. * Ability to occasionally move heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment. * Ability to assist with receiving and unloading shipments, including safely lifting and moving boxes and merchandise. * Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and processing transactions. * Ability to safely handle and move merchandise using proper lifting techniques and available equipment. * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
