CanWest Concrete is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced *Health & Safety Advisor* -*with NCSO *to support our Health & Safety programs. The successful candidate will work closely with our current HS&E Officer, management, and field teams to maintain safety documentation, support compliance requirements, and help promote a strong safety culture across CanWest?s locations in Calgary and Leduc. *Key Responsibilities* * Maintain, update and organize HS&E documentation, records, and databases * Completing pre-qualification documents for contractors * Work with dispatch to organize safety orientations, training, and onboarding * Track certifications, tickets, inspections, and required documentation * Supporting safety incidents, driving to site, taking images, completing reporting, and follow-ups * Assist with COR audits, inspections, safety program requirements, update and file policies, procedures, safety reports, statistics, and documentation * Schedule and help present safety meetings * Assist with processing WCB claims, Insurance claims, traffic violations * Communicate with field staff regarding safety requirements and documentation * Ordering, training, and inspecting PPE * Perform general administrative and HR duties as needed. *Qualifications* * NCSO designation is required * Previous experience in construction, health & safety, or a related admin role is required * Knowledge of Alberta OH&S legislation and construction safety practices is required * Valid Class 5 drivers license is required. * Current First Aid training is preferred * Strong organizational, filing and time-management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records * Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to work independently while supporting a busy management and field team * Professional and approachable manner *If you are an organized safety professional with strong administrative skills and a passion for workplace safety, we would like to hear from you.* Starting wage will be based on experience from $33 to $38/hour, with a chance of raise at 3 months for good performance.
