<p><strong>This is a fully remote position</strong>, open to candidates based in Canada.</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $60?$75/hr</p><p>Role Title: Software Developer</p><p>Role Type: Contractor</p><p>Location: Remote</p><p>We are engaging Software Developers to contribute expertise to a dynamic customer project focused on digital innovation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required ? your domain knowledge is what matters.</p><p>Scope of Work</p><ol><li>Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and robust software solutions leveraging Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, and full-stack technologies.</li><li>Conduct detailed code reviews, providing actionable feedback to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to standards.</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support architectural decisions and ongoing maintenance.</li><li>Collaborate in shaping software architecture and recommending industry best practices for long-term stability and scalability.</li><li>Participate in the analysis of requirements to deliver efficient, high-quality deliverables meeting client and project needs.</li><li>Contribute real-world programming examples, explanations, and problem-solving approaches as foundational input for AI training datasets.</li><li>Communicate findings, challenges, and solutions effectively using clear written and verbal communication skills.</li></ol><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ol><li>5+ years of proven experience as a professional, consultant, or specialist in one or more of: Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or full-stack software development.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in designing and reviewing complex software architectures and codebases.</li><li>Strong background in producing and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly technical documentation.</li><li>Solid experience with code review processes, offering insightful, constructive feedback to peers or contributors.</li><li>Ability to distill complex software concepts into clear, concise written and verbal communication pieces.</li><li>Experience working remotely and collaborating across distributed teams using digital communication tools.</li><li>Nice to have: exposure to AI, machine learning concepts, or contributing to technology training datasets.</li></ol> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Apply here with your Indeed profile.
