<p><strong>This is a fully remote position</strong>, open to candidates based in Canada.</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $58?$110/hr</p><p>Role Title: Senior Accountant Expert</p><p>Role Type: Contractor</p><p>Location: Remote</p><p>We are engaging Senior Accountant Experts to contribute specialized knowledge and experience to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required ? your domain knowledge is what matters.</p><p>Scope of Work</p><ol><li>Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standards.</li><li>Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios.</li><li>Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights.</li><li>Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues.</li><li>Review a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulations.</li><li>Deliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging your prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation.</li></ol><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ol><li>5+ years of corporate-level accounting experience with a track record of handling complex financial scenarios.</li><li>Strong proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and legal document review.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in providing actionable feedback and communicating findings effectively in both written and verbal formats.</li><li>Prior participation in human data projects such as data labeling, annotation, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or model evaluation.</li><li>Keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a passion for leveraging accounting knowledge in innovative contexts.</li><li>Profile as a strong and reliable accounting professional who thrives in independent and collaborative project engagements.</li></ol> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Apply here with your Indeed profile.
