*Accounting Manager ? 100% Remote* Tally CPA | Remote (Canada) $90,000?$120,000 per year | Full-time, Permanent *About Tally CPA* Tally CPA is a growing, cloud-based accounting firm providing outsourced accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses across Canada. We act as the accounting department for our clients, handling their bookkeeping, payroll, sales taxes, financial reporting, and corporate tax compliance. We're a small, friendly, and growing team that takes our work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. Although we're 100% remote, we work closely together, support one another, and maintain a collaborative, personable environment. We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team, oversee a group of bookkeepers, and take ownership of a portfolio of business clients. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys accounting, working with business owners, leading people, and having a meaningful say in how a growing firm operates. *The Role* You'll work directly with the firm's founder and lead a dedicated team of approximately 2?3 bookkeepers.Your responsibilities will include: * Oversee and review monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by your team * Handle more complex accounting matters, including accruals, prepaids, capital assets, shareholder loans, and intercompany transactions * Ensure month-end processes are completed accurately and on schedule * Review GST/HST/QST filings and other recurring accounting deliverables * Lead, coach, and support bookkeepers to improve their technical skills, independence, and efficiency * Build strong relationships with clients, answer accounting questions, and provide practical guidance * Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and automation * Work closely with the leadership team on client quality, operational improvements, and firm growth The goal isn't for you to spend your days entering transactions or doing routine bookkeeping.
