<p>About Wesgar Wesgar is a leader in the custom sheet metal fabrication industry, specializing in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing for a wide range of global sectors.</p><p>Based in Port Coquitlam, we pride ourselves on a workplace culture built on empathy, professional development, and operational excellence.</p><p>We are committed to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and high-energy environment where every team member has the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects.</p><p>Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to support the safe and efficient movement of parts and materials throughout our manufacturing operation.</p><p>This role is responsible for organizing incoming and existing parts, locating and moving materials to assigned areas, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.</p><p>The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of stand-up forklift experience , a valid forklift licence, and strong organizational skills.</p><p>Key Responsibilities Organize incoming and existing parts within assigned departments.</p><p>Locate parts and move them safely to designated work areas.</p><p>Maintain organized and safe storage areas for parts and materials.</p><p>Operate stand-up and counterbalance forklifts safely.</p><p>Follow material handling instructions and established procedures.</p><p>Support the efficient flow of materials between departments.</p><p>Maintain a clean and safe work area.</p><p>Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift .</p><p>Valid forklift licence is required.</p><p>Experience operating both stand-up and counterbalance forklifts .</p><p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</p><p>Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.</p><p>Good verbal communication skills in English.</p><p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</p><p>Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.</p><p>Preferred Attributes Previous material handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.</p><p>Experience moving metal parts or materials in a production setting.</p><p>Familiarity with inventory organization and material flow.</p><p>Schedule & Pay Details Shift: Day (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) Location: Port Coquitlam, BC Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Work Location: In person Why Join Us?</p><p>Equal Opportunity: Wesgar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p><p>We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.</p><p>Benefits: Eligible employees have access to extended health care, dental care, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and company events.</p><p>Real-World Impact: Help keep production running efficiently by ensuring parts and materials are organized, moved safely, and available where they are needed.</p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.</p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p>- Location Port Coquitlam, BC
