*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist licensed physiotherapists in delivering treatment plans, managing patient needs, and ensuring a smooth clinical operation. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, particularly within hospital and acute care settings. *Duties* * Assist physiotherapists with implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions. * Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. * Support patients during exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety. * Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes. * Help with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning as directed by healthcare professionals. * Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures. *Skills* * Previous hospital experience or familiarity with acute care environments is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and safety. * Basic physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform tasks requiring standing or movement for extended periods. This position is essential for supporting the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services and improving patient outcomes within our healthcare facility.
