*Job Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in corporate finance and accounting software while supporting the company's financial operations. The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior accountants and management to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. *Responsibilities* * Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Yardi * Support bookkeeping activities, including data entry and ledger maintenance * Aid in account reconciliation tasks to verify financial records against bank statements and internal records * Assist with auditing preparations and internal control procedures * Prepare reports for management regarding account status, discrepancies, or variances * Collaborate with team members on special projects related to financial analysis and process improvements *Experience* * Prior experience or familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred * Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping practices * Knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial services is a plus * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Educational background in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred but not required This position provides an excellent platform for individuals looking to grow their career in accounting within a dynamic organization committed to professional development.
