Job Title: Security Guard Job Description We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to maintain a safe and welcoming residential community. The successful candidate will conduct patrols, assist residents and visitors, respond to incidents and enforce property rules professionally and respectfully. Key Responsibilities * Conduct regular foot patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas and outdoor spaces. * Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry or suspicious activity. * Provide courteous assistance to residents, visitors and contractors. * Address noise complaints and disturbances using effective communication and de-escalation techniques. * Monitor parking areas and report violations according to site procedures. * Check doors, gates and designated access points to ensure they are secure. * Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns and property damage. * Respond to alarms, emergencies and requests for assistance according to site procedures. * Contact emergency services and notify management when required. * Complete accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs and incident reports. * Maintain confidentiality and protect resident and property information. * Follow site instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatch. Qualifications * Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence. * Valid First Aid and CPR certification. * Legally eligible to work in Canada. * Previous residential or patrol security experience preferred. * Strong communication, customer service and report-writing skills. * Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. * Ability to work independently and complete regular walking patrols. * Reliable attendance, punctuality and professional appearance. * Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
