Housekeeping Aide Elgin Lodge Retirement Living Elgin Lodge Retirement Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents. Responsibilities ? Clean resident suites, including bathrooms and living areas. ? Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, lounges, dining areas and public washrooms. ? Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop and sanitize surfaces as required. ? Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in accordance with established procedures. ? Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain an organized work area. ? Safely handle cleaning products and equipment. ? Assist with laundry duties when required. ? Perform general duties and light maintenance tasks as required. ? Follow infection prevention, hygiene and workplace safety procedures. ? Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards. ? Respect residents, their personal belongings and their privacy. Qualifications ? Reliable, organized and able to work independently and as part of a team. ? Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, as required. ? Comfortable standing, walking, bending and performing repetitive physical tasks. ? Able to safely use a step ladder when required. ? Previous housekeeping, cleaning, laundry or general maintenance experience is an asset but not required. Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time ? To be determined.
