*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our restaurant's standards for quality and presentation. \*Experience preferred, but not necessary if you are eager to learn.. \*Safe Food Handling Certificate is required \*rate of pay is $18.60/ hr plus tips *Duties* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. * Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. * Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. * Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to maintain high standards. * Participate in menu planning and development as needed. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. * Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. * Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. * A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
