Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Rural area. Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations. Recruit and hire staff. Supervise staff. Conduct performance reviews. Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies. Conduct training sessions. Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities. Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Establish work schedules. Organize and maintain inventory. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities. Maintain inventory of supplies. Negotiate offers from suppliers. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Set staff work schedules. Monitor staff performance .
