Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Mechanical and service company. Machinery installation. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Supervise workers and projects. Oversee apprenticeship training. Train or arrange for training. Oversee the operation of company. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Provide technical and professional advice. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Provide expert advice and testimony. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Printer and Graphic Arts Craftsman Trade Certification. Type of service and repair: Programmable logic controller (PLC).
