Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Hospitality administration/management, general. Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations. Recruit and hire staff. Supervise staff. Conduct performance reviews. Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies. Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities. Perform front desk duties. Implement marketing activities. Enforce policies and procedures. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Establish work schedules. Manage events. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 5-10 people. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
