Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Estimating. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients . Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads. Analyze tenders and recommend awards. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems. Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Type of experience: Mechanical construction. Commercial and/or industrial construction. Structural engineering. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) .
