Missing Link Home Services Ltd. is hiring Health Care Aides. You will need to have a *Certificate* from a recognized and accredited school for *Health Care Aide *and updated *Vulnerable Sector Check *(within 6 months). You will need *a vehicle* and valid driver's license. You will be supporting activities of daily living and providing comfort and support services to patients (clients, residents) who require short-term assistance or ongoing support. You will be working in the community in individual residences and expected to be able to do personal care including bathing, hygiene services, medication reminders, and housekeeping. Missing Link Home Services Ltd. wants to hire people who have an understanding of people with brain injury, mental health, addiction issues and who are low income.
There are different shifts, some *start at 6am* and some shifts *ends at 11:30 pm*. We currently do not have overnight clients. We also ask that you are available to work 2 weekends a month. Overtime is anything over 12 hours/day.
*\*\*Must be able to work 6am-4pm* *on day shifts and work 3pm- 1130pm* *on evening shifts.\*\**
All candidates start as part-time but could work into full time hours. Starting wage is $21.00 and $0.40/km. After probation period of 3 months, there is $1 raise*.* Benefit package available after 6 months being employed with minimum number of hours/week.
