Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Accept payment or invoices for items delivered. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Prepare, package and restock goods. Load and unload goods. Follow directions and read map. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Excellent oral communication. Initiative. Punctuality. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
