We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machining tools and equipment, including milling machines and lathes. *Responsibilities*
* Operate milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce high-quality components.
* Fabricate parts based on engineering drawings and specifications.
* Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to create and modify designs as needed.
* Perform measurements using calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
* Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production methods and efficiency.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in operating milling machines, lathes, and other hand tools.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
* Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
* Familiarity with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is highly desirable.
* Ability to program CNC machines is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
