*Overview*
Pay is negotiable, we have a day shift that is 4 on and 2 off.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint or coatings to various industrial products. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Industrial Painter will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.
*Duties*
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.
* Apply paint or coatings using various techniques, including spray painting and brush application.
* Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
* Assist in the fabrication and assembly of components as needed.
*Skills*
* Proficient in basic math for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
* Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely in an industrial setting.
* Knowledge of welding processes is a plus.
* Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
* Ability to perform machining tasks when required.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
* Experience with power tools and their safe operation is essential.
* Capability to fabricate components as part of the painting process.
