Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Employer's home. Developmental disorders. Tasks: Cook. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietition or nutritionist. Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest. Instruct students on behaviour, personal development. Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Certificate. Work experience with special needs students: Children with an intellectual disability. Experience with special needs children: Children with behavioural issues. Autistic children. Children with diabetes. Children with learning disabilities. Counselling specialization: Special education. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Reference required. Child welfare check.
