We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. *Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
* Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and cooking.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
