*Your Role as a Lawyer*
You?ll be an integral part of our personal injury team, assisting in the management and handling of files from intake to resolution. Key responsibilities include:
* Draft and review a variety of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
* Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
* Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to create effective legal strategies and solutions.
* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on issues related to Alberta laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, records, and documentation.
* Stay informed about changes in legislation, legal trends, and precedents relevant to Alberta.
* Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and exceptional service.
* Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
*Requirements*
* Called to the Bar in Alberta with a valid license to practice law.
* 1-4 years of experience handling personal injury and or civil litigation files
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
* Eagerness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
