*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are maintained. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their culinary careers within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking. * Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to recipes. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. * Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and hospitality. * Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on techniques and safety protocols. * Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen schedules and staff assignments. *Skills* * Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management. * Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry. * Excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-functioning kitchen environment. * Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. * Previous experience in restaurant management or food service is preferred. * Proficient in supervising kitchen staff and fostering a collaborative atmosphere. * Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing overall service capabilities.
