Job Title: Guest Service Manager
Department: Guest Services
Reports to: General Manager
Ø Responsible for positive guest relations, including handling inquiries regarding the hotel and local amenities, as well as assisting with issues about the guest's stay at the property.
Ø Responsible for complying with all safety and security policies, as outlined in the Employee and Health & Safety Orientation.
Ø Ensure all front desk staff has arrived and is prepared to work according to the schedule.
Ø Maintain all emails, and voicemails pertaining to the Guest Services Department, and take appropriate action when required.
Ø Create schedules for guest services department and approve hours in payroll system.
Ø Attend necessary management training, and staff meetings as required / requested.
Ø Interview, Hire, Train, terminate all new / existing staff members pertaining to the Guest Services Department.
Ø Oversee staff meetings for the Guest Services Department.
Ø Manage all Guest Services staff, ensure that professionalism is maintained at ALL times.
Ø Review and block rooms for arriving guests based on special requests and group arrivals. Arrange guest requests and ensure that appropriate charging procedures are maintained.
Ø Ensure hotel lobby and public areas are kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
Ø Keep track of all Lost & Found items received at the Front Desk, ensure proper tracking records have been kept.
Ø Review and file housekeeping sheets and maintenance work orders to maintain accurate room inventory and status;
Ø Process guest registration, including computation and collection of payment, as well as verification/processing of credit card transactions.
Ø Communicate with all departments of the hotel / company efficiently.
Ø Ensure social media requests from the marketing department are responded to in a timely fashion.
Ø Ensure accurate cash sheets and sales ratios are provided to the accounting department in a timely fashion.
Ø Managing Accounts Receivables and assisting General Manager with follow-up and collections.
Ø Maintain Property Management System (PMS)
Ø Other duties as assigned by Management.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
