Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Community service organization. Tasks: Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Leading/instructing groups. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Student status: Full time enrollment. Target audience: Persons who are intellectually impaired. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Initiative. Interpersonal awareness.
