There's no better place to launch an exciting, fulfilling career in pet services than Pampered Pets Westmount!Objectives of this Role<ol><li>Deliver outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing style requests, communicating clearly and honestly, and bringing a positive attitude to work each day.</li><li>Provide exemplary cosmetic care for pets, being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult animals</li><li>Protect the best interests of our customers and their pets, notifying owners of any concerns, including skin abnormalities, ear infections, ticks, and fleas</li><li>Help our team to continue to grow by forming fruitful relationships with customers that result in repeat visits</li></ol>Daily and Monthly Responsibilities<ol><li>Clean and freshen pet hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning</li><li>Shave, trim, and style pet hair according to the owner's preferences if possible</li><li>Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails and cleaning ears</li><li>Keep a clean work station by sanitizing and sweeping before the arrival of each new client and at the end of each workday</li><li>Helping co-workers complete tasks, we are team oriented</li></ol>Skills and Qualifications<ol><li>Comfortable working with animals, including anxious ones</li><li>Ability to stand for at longer hours and lift heavy animals over 50 pounds</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills and techniques on the job</li><li>Practiced verbal communication skills</li><li>Good attention to detail</li></ol>Preferred Qualifications<ol><li>Demonstrated passion for animals</li><li>Grooming Certification</li><li>Prior grooming experience</li><li>Experience working with animals in a professional or volunteer capacity</li><li>Experience working in a customer service-oriented role</li></ol>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour.
