Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Fertilize and spray crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Flexibility. Experience: Experience an asset.
