Tasks

Operate filtration and clarification systems

Operate pumping systems

Take physico-chemical measurements on water and sludge

Perform security checks within plant and on grounds

Analyze test results and instrument readings

Collect waste and sewage samples

Complete and maintain plant logs and reports

Help with the installation, the assembly, and repairs to equipment

Make adjustments to plant equipment and systems

Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally

Operate and monitor computerized control systems and related equipment to regulate the treatment and distribution of water

Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
