*Job Summary*
Winsor Custom Building is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in most aspects of carpentry, with the ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans. This role involves various tasks such framing, siding, roofing, and finish carpentry as well as working with a variety of materials and tools to ensure high-quality workmanship in all projects.
*Duties*
* Produce quality craftsmanship from framing to finish work.
* Work with a team providing support and proper direction to apprentices.
* Carry out solo tasks with minimal to no supervision in a timely manner.
* Read and interpret plans to determine project specifications.
* Fabricate custom pieces according to project needs.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Restore existing structures to maintain quality and safety standards.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Carpenter.
* Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques.
* Proficiency in reading plans.
* Experience as a site lead or supervisor is a plus.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
* Familiarity with safety protocols in construction environments.
* Drivers license and a reliable vehicle
* Must provide your own basic hand and power tools (Most large and specialty tools are provided on site)
