*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality drinks in a friendly and efficient manner.
*Duties*
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order.
* Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
* Monitor customer consumption of alcohol, ensuring responsible service practices are adhered to at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
* Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining compliance with health department standards.
* Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food service industry is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, food handling, and food safety regulations.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
* Strong time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
* Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
