*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and present sushi dishes with precision and creativity, adhering to traditional Japanese techniques.
* Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Help train junior kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques and food safety practices.
* Stay updated on current trends in the food industry to enhance menu offerings.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant setting, preferably within the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
* Experience in meal preparation with an emphasis on sushi or Japanese cuisine is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
