Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Dusty. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. First Aid Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Ground Disturbance - Level II program. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Area of work experience: Backfilling. Excavation. Rough grading. Sub-grade excavating. Trenching. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
