*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play an essential role in delivering delicious meals to our customers while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. * Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage areas. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout the cooking process. * Help manage inventory by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. * Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety practices. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
