Sessions Cannabis is seeking passionate individuals with cannabis knowledge for the role of Budtender. As a brand ambassador, you?ll provide excellent customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and contribute to a positive community environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivery tasks, ensuring safe and timely transport of products to customers.
*Budtending Duties:*
* Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner throughout the day.
* Confidently represent the Sessions brand and values.
* Educate customers on cannabis products and safe consumption.
* Facilitate cannabis sales by discussing products and accessories with customers.
* Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
* Use a cannabis-compliant POS system and cash register efficiently.
* Organize, receive, and categorize cannabis products and accessories.
* Maintain daily cleanliness of the store.
* Check IDs for customers appearing 30 years old or younger.
* Follow all company policies and procedures.
* Adhere to provincial and federal cannabis regulations.
* Participate in company and LP training initiatives.
*Delivery Driver Duties:*
* Safely transport cannabis products from the store to customers' locations.
* Verify customer identification upon delivery to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Ensure the safe handling of cannabis products during transport to prevent damage or contamination.
* Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
* Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and safe condition.
* Report any issues or incidents during deliveries to management promptly.
*Qualifications:*
* 3-5 years of retail experience preferred.
* Valid CannSell certification.
* Clean criminal background check.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Team player with strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
* Availability for shifts between 8:30 am to 11:30 pm, Monday to Sunday.
* Basic math skills and cashier proficiency.
* Cannabis knowledge and community connection are assets.
* Must be 19+.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.
* Perform tasks related to stocking, store maintenance, and delivering products.
* Ability to navigate and drive safely in various weather conditions.
* Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
