Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Diagnose disorders and injuries of the musculo-skeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. Treat patients with manipulative therapy, medications or surgery. Prepare a treatment plan for each patient. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Work with minimal supervision. Provide lifestyle awareness information. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Evaluate mobility, balance, gait and posture. Consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans . Area of specialization: Osteopathy. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
