Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Construction. Tasks: Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Oversee apprenticeship training. Train or arrange for training. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Write progress reports . Supervision: 5-10 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Overtime required. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
