Buck?s Tree Service is a fast growing company servicing Spruce Grove and surrounding areas. We offer high quality residential as well as commercial arboricultural services. We perform a wide variety of tree maintenance services, including tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, disease identification, planting and storm damage work. Buck?s Tree Service is a locally owned and operated business dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service available in the industry today. We are currently looking for an experienced *Arborist * to join our team. *Responsibilities & Essential Duties* \*\*The duties listed below are intended only as examples of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position. Day to day duties may vary slightly\*\* -Adhere to safety standards set out by Buck?s Tree Services, including but not limited to identifying work site hazards, assessing and implementing appropriate barriers and creating effective work site plans -Fill out daily truck log books and/or safety paperwork. - Ability to drive vehicles with a standard transmission. - Ability to tow as well as back up a trailer or wood chipper -Safely operate industry related equipment (Chainsaws, Chippers, Stump Grinders, Bucket Trucks, Pruners, Hand Saws, etc.) -Perform arboricultural related work including but not limited to tree trimming, tree removals and tree felling, while working at various heights. -Strong sense of teamwork, time management and organizational skills required. -Communicate politely and effectively with customers, the general public, coworkers and management. *Qualifications & Requirements* -Exhibit a true passion for the arboriculture industry -ISA Certified considered an asset (ability to obtain) - TRAQ and any other industry related certifications considered an asset -Valid class 5 driver's License with clean driver's abstract. -First Aid Certification considered an asset - Fall arrest certification - Steel toed safety boots required - Personal PPE (hard hat, saw pants ect.) *Skills & Abilities* - Able to comprehend written and verbal instruction - Physically able to complete demanding work and industry related tasks - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Benefits:* -Overtime after 8 hours per day - Full-time seasonal employment -Competitive Wages based on experience and skill level -Seasonal personal gear allowance -Flexible shift schedule.
