Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Group home. Urban area. Social service or charity agency. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Administrative and office activities. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Implement life skills workshops. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Conduct follow-up assessments. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Resolve conflict situations. Implement behaviour management programs. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Develop service intervention logic models and outcome measures. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Target audience: Adolescents. Children. Experience with special needs children: Children with behavioural issues. Autistic children.
