Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Agricultural mechanics and equipment/machine technology. Mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician. Heavy equipment maintenance technology/technician. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform other routine maintenance. Detect and repair mechanical and electrical problems. Equipment and machinery experience: Hydraulic system. Area of specialization: Electrical and electronic system. Diesel engine repair specialization: Fuel injection system. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Manual dexterity. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Other benefits: Free parking available.
