ROLE SUMMARY : <div>The Heritage College Nursing Program provides a part-time, three-year RN competency-based diploma program. Given that nursing is a practice-based profession, we believe that clinical experience is a vital and integral component of the curriculum, providing students with hands-on opportunities to practice their nursing skills under direct supervision of their clinical instructor. The clinical instructor supports student learning, liaises with assigned nurses in a clinical unit and collaborates with the Faculty Team Leader. The clinical instructor role is an essential and powerful component of nursing education.</div> DUTIES: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: <ul> <li>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and several years of teaching experience at the university or college level is preferred.</li> <li>A minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Nursing Experience and Mental Health Nursing.</li> <li>Fluency in English , both oral and written is required.</li> <li>Knowledge of software as per program requirements is necessary.</li> <li>Must be a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario.</li> <li>Hold an OIIQ (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec) license for all Quebec placements.</li></ul> ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: <ul></ul>Ability to:<ul> <li>Create a dynamic, challenging, and motivated learning environment.</li> <li>Adapt to a variety of student needs and provide appropriate academic and career development support.</li> <li>Employ exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in French, both oral and written.</li> <li>Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter through practical experiences.</li> <li>Apply theoretical concepts to current workplace needs and skill requirements.</li> <li>Must be flexible as required by the department workloads.</li> <li>Stay abreast of changes and new program requirements through regular professional development activities.</li> <li>Be willing to work collaboratively within the department team.</li></ul> SALARY RANGE (PER HOUR): 56,082.00$ - 108,008.00$ SPECIFIC SECTION: <ul></ul>
