Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Retail service establishment. Rural area. Retail business. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties. Order merchandise. Authorize return of merchandise. Establish work schedules. Sell merchandise. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Operate cash register. Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems. Perform data entry. Provide advice about merchandise. Provide customer service. Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services. Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease. Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease. Maintain sales records for inventory control. Assist in display of merchandise. Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment. Supervision: 3-4 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Travel expenses not paid by employer. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail.
