Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
