*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, understanding schematics, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary. *Responsibilities* * Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively. * Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs and maintenance. * Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the dealership environment. * Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Mechanic or Automotive Technician in a dealership or similar environment is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to maintain various automotive systems. * Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. * Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. * Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. * A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
