*Job Summary* As a Sales Associate at Bacco Market, you'll be the *face of our store* ? welcoming guests, sharing your product knowledge, and helping create a warm, memorable shopping experience. This role goes beyond processing sales: you'll guide customers through our curated selection, make thoughtful pairing suggestions, and help them discover the everyday indulgences that define our brand. If you love connecting with people and bringing a personal touch to retail, we?d love to meet you. *Responsibilities* * Deliver outstanding, personalized customer service through genuine, friendly interactions * Assist customers with product discovery and make thoughtful recommendations, including food and beverage pairings * Operate the espresso bar with care and professionalism (training provided) * Support day-to-day store operations: restocking, merchandising, and receiving deliveries * Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor * Accurately process transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments * Handle customer questions and resolve issues efficiently and professionally * Use in-store tech tools to assist with inventory management and product lookups * Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a consistently high customer experience *What We?re Looking For* * 1+ year of experience in retail, hospitality, or café settings * Warm, engaging personality and a natural ability to connect with customers * Commercial mindset ? understands how to upsell through genuine storytelling and guidance * Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a small team * Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness * Interest or background in gourmet food, wine, coffee, or specialty retail is a big plus * Comfortable using basic technology and POS systems * Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to a positive work environment * Smart Serve and Food Handler certifications are assets * Bilingualism is highly desirable to support a diverse customer base. *Think you?d be a great fit?* We'd love to hear from you!
