The Associate Director, Portfolio Monitoring and Analytics is accountable for proactive portfolio management, overseeing the monitoring, reporting and analysis of the group's client and credit portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Operations, you will have an in-depth specialization in portfolio monitoring, analytics and reporting. The Associate Director will contribute to the development of tools, routines and processes to ensure sound and proactive portfolio management. You will be required to remain informed on market, sector, and competitive trends. In addition, you will engage with key stakeholders to build relationships and develop insights on technology portfolio performance, quality and trends. Accountabilities: Ensures the ongoing quality of the assigned credit portfolio through monitoring, analysis, controls and administration by: Establishing appropriate processes and procedures to drive portfolio oversight, evaluation, and ensure portfolio growth conforms to strategic portfolio and business objectives. Responsible for the proactive monitoring, reporting and analysis of clients and Technology credit portfolio, including strategic portfolio design. Working with key stakeholders on strategic initiatives related to portfolio management. Supporting the updates and maintenance of credit related tools, routines and documents on behalf of the practice. Responsible for ensuring client reporting, covenant testing and borrowing base calculations adhere to the Bank's standards. Drive proactive portfolio management through analytics, trend spotting and use of internal systems. Ownership of internal credit-related reporting. Directing and assisting in the detailed evaluation of all information received, reporting deficiencies or any negative findings to Senior Management. Ongoing coaching of Analysts for various portfolio monitoring and analytical tasks. Adhering to any regulatory and internal Bank policies and requirements as well as oversight of compliance reporting and controls related to credit; and Advising Senior Management of any credit weakness developing within individual accounts, by ongoing awareness and analysis of relevant financial, legal, political, technological and industry information. Create reports and dashboards to communicate portfolio composition, trends and performance to key stakeholders. Provides analytical support on a regular and ad-hoc basis to key stakeholders. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
