Please e-mail resume to a-1tire@shaw.ca Looking for a Journeyperson/Automotive Technician (Mechanic) for a busy, Family owned and operated Repair shop. Alignment experience would be a definite plus!! 3rd Year may be considered with the right aptitude Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive repair Valid driver's license Must be a team player but able to work independently Able to lift a minimum of 25lbs Monday to Friday 8am-5pm - hourly position with some overtime Competitive wages based on experience Benefits after 3 months / RRSP Plan Equal opportunity employer Only those with the right qualifications will be notified *E-mail resume to a-1tire@shaw.ca , drop off at 7640-99 Street, Edmonton or call 780-432-0251 and ask for Mark or Lance* Other Duties: * Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals * Basic computer and internet literacy * Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools * Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.) * Drive manual transmission vehicles * Use computer diagnostic equipment Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Licence/Certification: * driver's license (required) * Mechanic/Automotive Technician license (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-05-12- LocationEdmonton, AB
