The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing outstanding guest service during their stay, and settling the guest?s account upon check out. The ideal candidate for this position is friendly and detail-oriented. A successful candidate will be required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Provides customer service through the completion of routine duties and tasks such as handling all calls, taking and relaying messages, and providing basic clerical support to the Front Desk
· Must have exceptional time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
· Delivers exceptional customer service to guests by clearly communicating and resolving challenges to guest satisfaction
· Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration by telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints
· Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems
· Performs payment transactions to departing guests
· Be familiar with all hotel services, amenities, and policies
· Other duties as assigned
*Qualifications & Skill Requirements:*
· Required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
· Experience working in a hotel
· Excellent communication skills; speaks English, writes English
· Professional attitude, organizational skills and strong attention to detail
· Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure in a fast-paced environment
