*The Opportunity*
Business Point is seeking an experienced and results-driven *Project Manager* to oversee Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction projects from pre-construction through to final delivery. This is a hands-on role that involves coordinating project teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality and safety across all phases of development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial construction and a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Manage multiple ICI construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
* Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Support contract negotiations and manage vendor performance.
* Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
* Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
* Monitor project risks and apply mitigation strategies when necessary.
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, clients, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
*Skills and Requirements*
* Minimum 5?7 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction sector.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and specifications.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and technical documents.
* Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and Occupational Health & Safety Act.
* Valid G Class Driver?s License and access to a personal vehicle.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
